Serving at CCD

Please indicate below the service(s) you would prefer to serve in:

NOTE: All Hospitality Ministry servants must be willing to be at the church 30-45 minutes prior to service (depending on your area of service). Servants in all areas are committing to serve one to two times per month.

-Greeters welcome guests and are an important resource of information for them, answering questions about the ministries, teachings, and life of the church. Greeters must be willing to arrive 30 minutes prior to service.
-Coffee & Refreshments: Those helping with coffee & refreshments must be willing to arrive at the church 45 minutes prior to service to brew coffee and replenish materials at the coffee bar. Additionally, those serving in this area will be available (as needed) to help greet people as they come through the doors!
-Ushers help individuals find seats in the sanctuary, assist in distributing Bibles to any who need them, along with general security of the building during service, and on weeks the church shares in communion, they will help prepare elements before service and distribute communion during service. Ushers will wear radios that are connected as means of communication with the Children's Ministry for security. Ushers must be willing to arrive 30 minutes before service (and 45 minutes before on worship services with communion—the first Sunday of each month and the third Wednesday of each month).
