Remember What He’s Done

Drawing from Exodus 13, Pastor Joel calls believers to actively remember God's acts of deliverance and to live in response to what He has done. He examines three interconnected themes: the consecration of the firstborn as a reminder that everything belongs to God, the wilderness route as evidence of God's protective wisdom over Israel, and the pillar of cloud and fire as a manifestation of God's guiding presence. Just as Israel was prone to forgetfulness, so are believers today, and the remedy is a consistent, Spirit-led remembrance of redemption. Because Christ gave everything to purchase our salvation, we are called to live with open hands, trusting God's leading even when His path seems contrary to our expectations, and leaning on the indwelling Holy Spirit as our present-day guide through every season of life.
