The Tent of Meeting
Pastor Joel walks through Exodus chapters 25 through 28, examining the detailed instructions God gave Moses for the construction of the tabernacle and its furnishings. He draws rich theological connections between the physical elements of the tabernacle and the spiritual realities fulfilled in Jesus Christ and the New Testament church. Central to the message is God's heart to dwell among his people, a desire expressed in the construction of the tabernacle and ultimately fulfilled through the sacrifice of Christ, which tore the veil and opened direct access to God's presence for all believers. Pastor Joel also addresses the principles of generous, willing giving, the significance of the priestly garments and office, and the New Testament believer's identity as a kingdom of priests with full access to the holy of holies through the blood of Jesus.
